Welcome!
This is the program that has been years in the making.
My clients know, they have heard me say it before, I'm happy when I help them lose weight, that is a great feeling and it's an amazing accomplishment. However, I'm most interested in helping them find FREEDOM. Freedom from the grasp of the never-ending cycle of weight loss, self shame or even hate and freedom to live without food or our bodies being the enemy.
Here is what I know for SURE. Weight loss will not get you there. Just shedding the pounds is not the long-term answer. If it was then all it would take is one time and you'd never have to find yourself in the pit of depression from weight gain again. Right?
So I am putting together what I believe, after years of practice, is the formula for working through this once and for all. This 12 Week Intensive will combine what I have learned to be the greatest tools to create the greatest change...deepest change.

How it works...
Weekly Small Group Meetings:
Each week you'll meet with a small group of no more than 5 participants. I absolutely will not allow more than 5 participants to a group. I believe the small group format will be key to the success of this group. This first small group will meet on Saturday's at Zone in the Coaching Room (second office from the front) at 8:30 - 9:30 beginning on May 6th and lasting for 12 weeks.
Weekly meetings will be structured so that we make progress week-to-week.
What will the meetings include?
Discussion:
We will have time to share what happened in the week between meetings. You'll update the group on your progress or Ah Ha! moments, or tell us about your struggle. We will get to discuss the assignment from the previous week and how the scripture may have impacted us that week.
Self-Development:
Each week I will prepare a "rubber hits the road" type exercise. This will be a tool, assignment, or discussion each week centered on self-development. It seems backwards but having structure actually creates freedom and security. We will explore different areas of our lives and work on practical tools to help us decrease chaos and increase peace in our lives.
Centering Scripture:
Each week will include a brief discussion on a story and/or scripture. Read more on that below.

Accountability:
Smaller groups lend themselves to higher accountability. You'll be expected to participate, show up and do the assignments each week.
God Centered:
Each week I will send you home with an assignment for the week and a scripture that we are focusing on for the week. If I have found freedom in any area of my life it's because God has led me there. We are going to invite God into this process with us and ask Him to lead. I believe that God has a lot to say to us about how we relate to food. We truly do have fearfully and wonderfully made bodies and often at the center of our struggle is a beautiful mechanism that God meant for good that we no longer know how to relate to. We will explore this, we will allow God in the middle of this and we will find freedom as week seek. I believe that with all my heart.
I am sensitive to the fact that some of you may not find that God should be part of this process, or you may not be a person of faith and I respect that, however, this then may not be the program for you.

Weekly Assignments:
There will be work for you to do each week between sessions. How long it takes will be greatly up to you and how much you want to get out of this program. But make no mistake I will hold you accountable to doing the work on some level. This is not the group you show up to without your homework done. If that's been you then maybe this is the group you desperately need. But know that this time you will be held to the fire for getting your work done. No excuses.
Who is this for?
This is for women who have tried it all and are desperate for something to happen.
This is for women who feel at the end of their rope and are ready to give up.
This is for women who are ready to work inward and listen upward.
This is for all of us at some time. Is this your time?

How to sign up:
Due to the fact that I am keeping this group VERY small I expect that it will fill up fast. However, I want to make sure that each participant is ready. I am very serious about the life-changing effects this group can have and I want to make sure that the group is strong and that each participant is open to change.
Step 1: Make your Payment to reserve a spot
Making your payment will reserve your spot as we review applications. We want to be sure each participant is ready for this program and committed to being a participant not just an attendee. This will increase the success of the entire group. If your application is not accepted this time we will immediately refund your payment. The cost of the program is $540 for the 12 weeks (That is a savings of $180 off personal coaching rates for 12 weeks, made possible by the small group setting).

Once your payment is received you'll receive the application via email. Please fill this out within 24 hours of making your payment. (I know some of you will want to do it when you have some quiet time which may not be when you reserve your spot. So I wanted to give you time to grab your spot but think about your answers to the application.)

Let's do this...
This is the program I have been longing to bring to you. I have spent years working in classes, with coaches and leaders (both professional and spiritual) and on myself. I do not have all of the answers but I do know this...God does. He will lead us and He will guide us through this 12 weeks but we will also work. We will do what we can and let God can do what we can't. We are strong but sometimes over years of telling ourselves otherwise we forget. We are going to remember! This is not about finding all of the answers, it's about finding ourselves and seeing ourselves through the eyes that made us and thinks we are perfect. It's not about ignoring our broken parts but as the quote on my office wall says, it's about growing strong in our broken places. That is courage. Are you ready to take this journey with me?
About Jen...
This was me a few years ago...
That's me in the blue barely making it across the finish line with not even the energy left to lift my arms. That was my first half marathon. I entered because we knew a young girl fighting a brain tumor and some friends decided to run in her honor.
I wanted to quit every time I went for a run. I hated it. I couldn't breathe, my stomach was a wreck, and every step was a reminder of how far I had let my health slip. But I kept running. Why? Because if she could not decide to just quit cancer I could not decide to quit running. But my plan was to cross that finish line and never run again. EVER.
But a finish line does something to a person. Even though that race took all I had I knew somewhere in me I had more. Not yet...but I knew I could. So after a few days of rest and some time to think about what had happened out there on that 13 mile hell, I set my mind on a second race. Then a third and then...well like Forest Gump, I just kept running.
This is me 5 years later...

I am 5 years older and feel 10 years younger. I'm 45 minutes faster, 40 pounds lighter, and have a new sassy haircut. Nope I didn't lift my hands across the finish this time either. I was too busy pumping those babies to make sure I hit my time goal. But I crossed that finish line a different person than the one you see above.
Between those two pictures I turned 40 and lost 40 pounds, gained strength (in my muscles and my mind), completely cured my IBS with nutrition not the medication my doctor wanted me to take, went to school to be a health coach for a year and finished, wrote a book on clean eating, got my certification to become a personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, and Spinning instructor and opened my own fitness studio.
When you start a journey to get healthy you never know what parts of your life it will touch. You have no idea how much can change and you can't dream of where it may take you.
But I can because I've been there. I've done it. I'm still doing it.
I'm approaching 6 years of zero sick visits to the doctor. That's saying a lot for someone with chronic sinus issues, ADD, IBS and the usual seasonal allergies. I've truly taken my health into my own hands and it feels great!
And you want to know the best part. It wasn't all about the food. It was about me. That's the best part and the scariest part.
I found the solution wasn't in the program, counting calories or what exercise I did. It was in me. I had to change the way I related to food, my life and myself in the mirror.
Do you want to become the best version of you that has ever been? I can help you.
All it takes is a willingness to accept change and challenge and the courage see it through.
